Tumbleweed Challenge Grand Prix
WHERE: La Junta Victory Motors Raceway
WHEN: Weekend of August 30 & 31, 2025
FIND SCHEDULE HERE: 25 Tumbleweed Schedule.pdf
For this event, we are adding an HPDE/Time Trials run group. Don’t have a working racecar? No problem! Come on out in your street vehicle (no trucks or SUVs, sorry!) and get some adrenaline-pumping practice at one of Colorado’s first road courses!
Register for either Saturday or Sunday for $150. If you’d like to participate both days the entry fee is $250. If you are not a current member of RMVR, weekend membership is available for an additional $20.
While the official schedule is still being finalized, we are planning to have at least four, 15 minute sessions per day for this special run group.
Entries for this run group are limited to a maximum of 20 per day to ensure safety and plenty of open track for all involved.
Timing will be offered for cars with transponders. RMVR will have limited availability for renting transponders. Please contact Austin@RMVR.com if you need to rent a transponder.
This HPDE/Time Trials group is strictly for time-trials and practice only! NO RACING WILL BE PERMITTED. Additional rules will be presented at the morning driver’s meeting but please expect passing with a point-by on the front straight only.
At the end of the day, once the on-track activities have concluded, be sure to stick around for a taco and burrito dinner on Saturday evening with the rest of the club!
